Who we are

Lifeffect is a private meditation log. This policy describes what the app stores and who can see it.

Account

Access is through an account we create for you. We store the email address and the sign-in credentials for that account. There is no public signup.

What you write

When you log a session, we store the practice, the time, the duration, and any notes or ratings you choose to add. That record stays in your account.

Oura

Connecting an Oura Ring is optional. We ask only for session and workout access. We import meditation sessions, and yoga only when you log it as an activity. For a meditation session we also keep the average heart rate and heart-rate variability. Oura does not include temperature on these sessions. We do not import sleep, readiness, or other workouts.

The connection token stays on our server so the sync can run. It is not shown in the app. Disconnecting removes the connection. Sessions already imported stay in your history until you delete them.

How we use it

We use this information to show your log, patterns, and weekly review to you. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see it

You can. Other people cannot read your sessions through the app.

How long we keep it

We keep a session until you delete it, and the account until you ask us to close it.
